100 word LTTE Sara Palin

On 9-9-08, Christian Reconstructionist Pat Buchanan called Obama “one of them” and Sarah Palin “one of us”. Prudence pays attention when politicians express Dominionistic world views. Did something in Buchanan’s 1996 presidential campaign attract Palin to his 2000 election bid?

Buchanan and co-chair Larry Pratt’s 1996 platform based opposition to gun control on biblical principles, participated in Christian Identity gatherings, and framed militias to be the bulwark against anti-Christian government. They advocate old-testament law to re-create the kingdom of God on earth where Christians are chosen to control every institution.

Most Christians are moderate and unaware of this radical intent.

can you tell be what does "LTTE" stand for? I keep seeing it and can't figure it out.

To reply to your post, though, Ms. Palin's previous support of Pat Buchanan just solidifies my opinion of the woman as extremely radical right-wing nutty. While Mr. Buchanan does on occasion actually have some valid points, he inevitably disintegrates into his true scary self.

Ms. Palin is against bans on semi-automatic assault rifles, but attributes her stance on the fact that her state is into Hunting (with a capital "H"). I fail to see why semi-automatic assault weapons need to be used for hunting, but I'm sure she is just trying to appeal to all the NRA folk.

Yes, Palin is extremely right wing, and it is a difficult idea to convey in 100 words or less. I could not resist Buchanan's comment for several reasons. Most importantly, it is because registered republican Palin actively supported and campaigned for reform party Buchanan in opposition to her own parties choice.

Second of all, the logic is irresistible to me.

Buchanan said Obama is one of them and Palin is one of us. Therefore:

Obama = Them and Palin = US

Palin = Us is equal to A = B
Buchanan = platform of his presidential bid is equal to B = C
Therefore C = A or Palin = Buchanan's radical politics

Hey, Buchanan pointed this out, and we should pay attention !
