Todd Palin is an average citizen. He holds no government position. If he does not have to comply to this subpoena then no citizen of the USA has to comply with any subpoena. He can claim no Privilege.. We will see if Republicans believe in the rule of law or not...

1. Betcha he wiggles out somehow.
They'll come up with some ridiculous excuse, somehow related to executive privilege (like he was her adviser, he performed state functions of some kind, something), and he will not be seen before his would-be inquisitors.

he will not comply. In addition to Diplomatic Immunity there is now such a thing as Republican Immunity.

He will not comply and he will not be punnished for not replying.

The press will portray him as a sympathetic victim of a "Puke Hunt."

16. Law school was many, many years ago, but ...
If I recall the Spousal Immunity Privilege only applies in CRIMINAL cases, not in civil matters, and I am certain, not in administrative hearing, where the rules of evidence generally do not apply.

7. Yes, the turd will comply.
There's no harm in complying when whatever comes out will just be hidden, sealed, erased, spun, or hand-waved into non-existence.

14. Palin's a secessionist. What does he care what a citizen of the USA has to do?
He only cares about what the law would be in the Republic of Alaska.
