Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 04:43 AM by obamaforme
O'Reilly stated that a webiste is condoning the posting of Palin's emails and other personal information He wants the website shut down and the person who is running the website arrested. He said that he will call the Attorney General and will have an update on this during his next show.

1. It is her private email account...
not her work account. So O'liely needs to STFU.

4. Well, if the US Government can hack into my email account and
read my emails, why can't their accounts be hacked by the Governed and read?

The privacy issue is dead. The Republicans killed it.

The hackers gained entry to Mrs Palin's Yahoo! email account, which she used for official business as Alaska's governor.

Seriously though, why is she using Yahoo for official Alaska government business?

8. Yahoo?
One of the best revelations that has come out about Sarah Palin's governorship is not only the fact that she's kept her e-mail off of public, taxpayer-funded, subpoena-able servers, but that she's doing so on a Yahoo e-mail account.

That's right, the governor of Alaska is conducting state business from something that's just a step above the ridiculousness of an e-mail address like palinpower907@yahoo.com. Her actual e-mail address (although most probably by now it's been overrun with spam and hate mail) is gov.sarah@yahoo.com.

http://machinist.salon.com/blog/2008/09/15/palin_emails/">Palin, like Rove before her, stayed off government e-mail servers

10. I surely hope that the focus will remain on the economy and not Palin's emails
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 05:35 AM by obamaforme
O'Reilly's outrage could be yet another intended distraction - like the lipstick on a pig thing. Ombamanites have to stay focused on the Economy. Obamas strong suit.

12. AMATEURS use yahoo, google, msn as an email address...
... unless used as a throwaway or "spam" address.

For personal use, or because you need something that's "free", then things like Yahoo!, MSN, Google are fine, but for business use I'd never use one of these accounts.

There's a reason why my email at work is locked down, encrypted and firewalled multiple times over. And I only work for a "Fortune 480" company (sorry, 10 went bust this month).

I even take care over my personal email service: own domain name (more professional), I choose the service provider dependent on what kind of service I require, and have fail-safe options for when that fails.

18. Ant atty Gen who would listen to O'reilly....
...needs to be fired immediately. O'reilly could not get a job on any network that requires reporting some semblance of the truth. He's a nutball pervert who should be in prison, bending over for his buddies!
