1. I guess Keith can stop giving her that lead-in to her show since
her ratings are now higher than his. LOL

11. I travel a lot and most of the hotels/motels don't have MSNBC
But every single one carries FOX. You're right, most basic cable packages, like Comcast, don't carry MSNBC and require a significant upgrade to include it in their lineup. Strangely enough every cable lineup includes channel after channel of wacko christian religious shows and shopping networks.

3. Rachel Maddow Is the Next Susan Stamberg
Warm, inviting, trustworthy, relentlessly cheerful, and smarter-mouthed. She is destined to be beloved by everyone. Even Pat Buchanan!

5. Boy, I find that extremely reassuring that there is a market for Rachel!
She is absolutely the best there is and I'm glad it's being recognized. I can only assume her market will grow.

Only recntly have I been able to watch Hardball again. Matthews is a lot more reality based world lately and doesn't seem to be making as many asinine "sunny nobility" type of comments.

Great show so far... and yes, she will be better once she gets into a groove with the new show. :)

14. She's the first TRUE liberal to be allowed to have her own talk show and so no wonder

it skyrockets so quickly.

Talk about a repressed and silenced demographic.

I guess if Nazi Germany had allowed a token Jewish or Liberal German Radio Show on it's stations, a similar skyrocketing would have occurred from a similarly silenced people, all piling into the one place where one can escape the Bushies/Nazis, even briefly.

I love KO, but he is Left-Centrist, IMHO. Of course, even getting someone like THAT past the Wall of Bushies on actually with his own show was quite astoniishing, though it is unsurprising that only one "copycat" show on the same sation, no less, has risen.

Which, as one looks at it from a Free Market perspective, is insanity. MSNBC has a wildly popular brand name in Olbermann who's rating have rocketed skyward also. If he wasn't going against the Bushie M$M, and it was JUST a matter of Free market Principles, there would be a half-dozen copycat shows on different stations already!

But, Imperial Amerika, as is quite obvious now, is not a free-market nation nor a free nation, at all, so Soviet-style "water flowing uphill" like KO being replaced by Dick Gregory in election coverage. Which is roughly akin to the Yankess removing Tommy Jeter for a spindly-armed minor-leaguer with a .150 average.

Makes no sense in a free country. Makes perfect sense in a totalitarian tyranny, even the kinder and gentler newfangled Inverted Totalitarianism the Bushies and Putin have created.
