The German government's own bank, KfW, suspended two top executive officers from their duties Thursday after blunders that lost KfW 536 million euros in the Lehman Brothers failure.

1. It is sad when we hve to look to Germany to see how a financial crisis
Should be handled.

Are there bodies of US executives jumping from NY windows to hit the pavement 85 flooors below?

Yes and no. They may be jumping, but only while using their Golden Parachutes and then, the tens of millions of Golden Parachute money wil cushion their blow when they hit the ground. <sigh>

I have yet to hear of a single perosn being fired, or being indicted. Well, in WorldCom and Enron, but those executives only involved a minor slice of the Global Economic Pie.
