"You assert dereliction with such extreme expectations of those under extreme oppression." I'm still turning that over and over, trying to work out exactly what the hell it means.
It's not about reality versus unreality, but principle. The lawlessness of this administration is so staggering in its scope as to defy belief...Nancy Pelosi goes on TV and says she'd consider impeachment proceedings if she could be shown EVIDENCE THAT CRIMES HAD BEEN COMMITTED!? Are you fucking kidding me!? The list of this administration's crimes is the size of a fucking phone book! Kucinich has actually put together a list of no fewer than thirty-five impeachable offenses committed by the administration! And you're saying I'VE left the path of reality?
No, Pelosi and Reid don't have supreme powers. But the beauty of it is, they don't need supreme powers; they have the authority vested in them by the Constitution of the United States, which is more than enough. They could have done their duty and stood up for the Constitution and the People of the United States. They didn't try and fail; they dug in their heels and REFUSED to take action to stop the evisceration of the Constitution and the law. No one will ever convince me that the administration doesn't have something on Nancy Pelosi that she'd do anything to prevent coming to light.
As far as how Waxman, Wexler and Kucinich would feel—you know how they feel, unless they've told you themselves. Do you know what dereliction of duty is? According to the UCMJ, it's that one "willfully, through negligence or culpable inefficiency, fails to perform one's expected duties". The civilian definition is essentially the same. According to this, I stand completely by my assertion that Pelosi is guilty of dereliction of duty. Can you explain how she isn't, with regard to the Constitution and the rule of law?
I do reserve the full force of my anger for the lawbreakers. But I won't let those who turn a blind eye off the hook, especially when it's their job to do something. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."—Edmund Burke. And as far as "the system that was supposed to protect ME" is concerned, it's flatlined while Nurse Pelosi was on duty.
I hope Cindy Sheehan pries her butt out of her House seat in November.
DAYUM, indeed.
