What to say WHEN GOPERS blame economy on Dems
GOPers are anxious to avoid being blamed for the economy, the scrambly, clutching at straws excuses are laughable...

HOWEVER, as we all know - to the GOPer, everything can be blamed on Dems and Clinton. So what do you say when GOPerS blame Dems?

"Glad to hear you are in favor of more regulation and not mccain's deregulation party. If more people felt like you, maybe we can get things back on track and have real oversight, real accountability. Now we can get rid of reagan's trickle-down economics. Does this mean you'll vote for Obama?"

4. Democrats handed Republican Bush a surplus, and he ran up huge deficits,
just like other Republican presidents have. Republican McCain supported deregulation of banks and the investment companies, pushed by his close adviser Phil Gramm, and we are seeing the expensive consequences of their destructive actions right now. The corporations took advantage of deregulation to make ridiculous loans and they got a bailout. Republican McCain supported Republican Phil Gramm's voodoo economics. They both want to continue Republican deregulation.

Democrat Obama understands that regulations allow all participants equal freedom to act responsibly, without expecting handouts. Democrats understand that regulating the financial sector protects us taxpayers and small investors against incompetent ideologues like Phil Gramm. Republican ideologues like him and John Sidney McCain III continue to insist on deregulation. For Republicans, it seems like welfare is fine for giant corporations who abuse the deregulation, but not for the poor people who fell for the sweetheart loans and faced foreclosure.
