No Surprise: CHENEY Spied On His Colleagues
AMY GOODMAN: Cheney has the White House email all blindly going to him, so that everyone that writes each other in the White House, Cheney gets that email?

BARTON GELLMAN: Early on in the administration he made arrangements that he and his office would be copied with all the significant paperwork in the White House on issues. It was not true that if you wrote to the person in the cubicle next door that he was going to get a blindcopy, but if you sent an email to the working group on Asia or on arms control, you would see that it was going to your colleagues in the White House, to the appropriate directorates. You would not see that a copy was going to Cheney.

1. Why should Cheney treat his colleagues
any differently than the rest of Amurkins?

3. Not surprising, Cheney would be Nixon's soul mate in the category of trust.

I believe in both cases this is fed in large part because Nixon knew and Cheney knows they can't be trusted.

Thanks for the thread, kpete.

6. Ron Suskind went over this too in his One Percent Doctrine.
Cheney basically has a shadow government going on right under everyone's noses.

He's so into the "mission" one wonders whether he'll feel confortable giving up the fight if the right people don't win the election.

He may have a plan . . .

8. He must be a royal pain to live with, too.
I know Lynne is a piece of work herself, but seriously, how has she hung in there all these years?
