Oh, and before you go dismissing me as just another Yankee Knucklehead, head over to Abbeville. Sondley Circle, to be exact. The Sondley Mansion. The back yard, where there is/was a plaque that noted a little historical event took place: It is where the SC legislature, run out of Colombia by a Malaria epidemic, voted to cecede from The Union.
