1. Thanks for posting this K&R. This shows you the character of this person and her husband you can

bet had a say in pushing this to cull the wolves so they would have more big game to hunt. This is despicable and as far as that goes anyway, it is not "hunting" to be flying around in a helicopter gunning down animals. Sickening.

3. Many towns across the World tried this shit...only to discover a plague of MICE overwhelming

their homes/buildings/farms/etc....millions of mice cause there were no predators....once the population spiral reaches a certain size....its all over until the eradication process begins...

sheer dumbness to kill all the predators....its a balance we seek...not sick gratification...

5. right & you know that things are totally screwed up now because of our interference in these things.

Of course this is nothing but their sheer culling of an animal for their own pleasure so they can hunt more bigger trophy animals anyway, nothing at all but that.

2. K & R. It's a vicious circle...

...take out the predators, and the prey animal populations explode to the point of outstripping their food supply. They start to starve and die off from disease. Then they "have to" be hunted to bring down the numbers, so that at least some will survive - a quick death at least being preferable to a slow lingering one. It was done in the lower-48 with disastrous results; in my neighborhood starving deer enter people's gardens and are routinely hit on the highways. That vile piece of pond-scum Palin wants to create the same ecological imbalance in Alaska. (With apologies to pond-scum, which actually has its place in the ecosystem....)

7. I don't believe the source...Alaska had been doing this shit several

years ago, shooting wolves from the air, and this makes it sound like Palin is coming up with some new plan. It's an old plan and it really, really sucks, but you can't blame Palin for this one.
