Our bailout is the financial Patriot Act II...Look at this...
here is the original post with the language:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x4044375

And I don't know how i missed it:

And here is section 2, Paragraph B, Line 2

(2) entering into contracts, including contracts for services authorized by section 3109 of title 5, United States Code, without regard to any other provision of law regarding public contracts;

NO BID GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS WITH THE SINGLE LARGEST SECTOR OF THE US ECONOMY!!!!!!!!!

Congress passes this and we should stop paying taxes en mass.

1. Please write Congress against this bill.
Preferably mentioning the "without regard to any other provision of law regarding public contracts" aspect.

2. The talking heads say that Congress will be taking action on this by mid-week AND
The smirk with which they say it implies that all good Congress critters will pass this bill immediately!!

6. I think the major implication of this is once again we will have
The Big Boy Players running things.

So if you are just itching to see "Halliburton - The Auditing Company" auditing on behalf of the Powers that Be at a cost of six million dollars a second, or "Blackwater The CPA firm" doing some tough accounting for 18 million dollars a nano-second, all is well.

Otherwise it is time to email and phone your congress critters.

At once, as the Media and the Powers that be want this bill put through by mid-week if not sooner. (And as all of us know, no "Patriotic" congresss critter should ever bother to read legislation when the system faces a crisis!)

9. Retroactive Immunity for Halliburton/KBR
They didn't put Darth in the drivers seat to have him take a dump in his pants. Now that there is a precedent for retroactive Immunity, I think they'll be using this for a wide variety of crimes that they otherwise would be brought to some kind of justice.!!!it's going to be a rough life for us peons!!!!!
