Let me tell you why Sean Hannity is a coward.

I called his show on Friday and actually got through. The call screener (I wish I could remember her name) asked me my name and where I was calling from, then asked me what I wanted to say. I told her, in some detail, exactly what I wanted to say to him, she put me on hold for about 3 minutes, then came back and asked for my phone number because "Sean will be talking about this in the next hour."

Since they probably had my number anyway, and since I have nothing to hide, I gave her the number. But I also decided I would call back, from a different phone, because I didn't believe her.

Well into the next hour, he hadn't raised the topic and of course I got no call. But I was able to get through again. She told me that he wouldn't be discussing that issue. And he didn't.

Here's what I'm talking about, in case anyone is still interested. :) It's about the spin and double-standard that he was trying to hold Obama to, regarding comments on the economy...whether he would have held Reagan to the same standard, and the general fantasy world that the right-wing radio types live in.

The trick to getting through on national shows is to try to time it just before it sounds like the current call is about to be concluded. I perfected that when Larry King used to have a radio show. Of course his call volume was lower anyway b/c it was a long distance call.
