The PNAC/BushCo has their financial Pearl Harbor now.
They will grab everything left ungrabbed after their 9/11 Pearl Harbor if congress is as stupid as they were in the first few months after 9/11.

Is Our Reichstag burning...I think it is. Is our congress learning...I think they are still as dumb and complicit as ever.



The Devil is always in the details and this time congress had better study this far more than they studied the "Patriot Act"...AGAIN...the stampede is on!

the working class. If we are deeply impacted...the system collapse can occur....killing off the systems operations and the society goes into stagnation/depression/fuckup in general...leading to famine/death by the thousands/millions.

Some of the religious nuts actually want this shit...calling it a rapture....

There ain't no question about the GOP's latest "Pearl Harbor" type calamity,...They not only let it happen, they MADE IT HAPPEN!

And now the likes of Phil Gramm, McCain and Bush, want to steal those last few pennies off the dead American Dreamer's eyes. Not only did they Steal everybody's job, turn Lady Liberty into a Cheap two bit Whore and ruin our good name around the planet...now they want to mop up every last drop of the life blood left in America and the world, with another ruthless power grab while our drawers are down.

a proposal, arguing "give us this power and it will increase
our bargaining leverage" (with the unspoken but well understood
counter-argument of "if you stall or hesitate, we will call
you wimpy, un-American, and liberal. etc. and clobber you in
the election)

also, did not Paulson use the argument this summer to Congress
of "give me this power and it will make it more likely that it
will never have to be used" ? and then, eight weeks later, it
got used. (on AIG, i believe)

why would they need to create another excuse? This is a result of them doing that.

Congress will rubber stamp it. The people will be angry, confused, and powerless as usual.

The script has already been written. They've created reality, and we're just here to observe.
