Congress should approve a Bush Administration-written bail out plan for Lehman Brothers, AIG and whoever else just happens to fail before he leaves office.

1. Too many simple solutions based on a false premise.
Why did we go from no intervention (OMG World Stocks Slide!!!) to total socialization of bank debt on the shoulders of American workers (OR You'll ALL DIE!!!)?
We need an investigation of insider trading, the effects of decisions made by Carlyle, etc. The build of the bubble was slow, but was the appearance of a potential pop a stage managed event in ANY way (including 'nature' taking its course and legislation waiting in the wings)?

2. I would think that falls in with either 2 or 3.
The operative word being "reasonable".
