Remember, Osama bin Laden wanted to destroy our economy.
He wanted to bleed us dry so we couldn't dominate Muslim nations anymore. He wanted us out of Saudi Arabia and other Muslim nations. He wanted our military weak, our economic clout diminished.

He figured he could goad us into fighting a long, bloody guerrilla war on their turf and on their terms. Through this war he felt he could do to us what the Muhajadin did to the Soviet Union.

Looks like he found unlikely allies in bush and Wall Street. Bush supplied the war, Wall Street supplied the economic collapse.

3. Im tired of hearing this crap
Fighting Bin Laden is a drop in the bucket. He IS NOT responsible for this mess. In 10 years, when the Republicans are asked about why this happened, fuck letting them say Bin Laden was the reason for the economic decline.

Our economy sputtered, jobs were loss/shifted, we decided to boost the housing sector to increase lost jobs & assets, rates were lowered, money was loaned to anyone, bad terms were set, prices shot up, no one was left to loan to, people foreclosed who had no one to sell to, prices fell to the bottom, banks lost everything on the loan, and securities that were sold based on these mortgages turned to shit.

We don't need bin Laden for this. It was a shitty irresponsible time in banking (lending to the wrong people with impossible terms) and now the bottom has fallen out.

4. I'm just saying we are giving Osama what he wanted, not exactly how he
wanted it. He underestimated our ability to destroy ourselves. The free market fundamentalist have brought us to our knees in ways Osama could only dream about.
