Use of word "Armageddon" in regards to financial crisis
I resent the use of this word thrown about easily right now because it will dull the effect of when people find out Palin believes in Armageddon. They will go "so what". Desensitization.

Allenby's brilliant use of mounted infantry brought an end to the Ottoman empire (and with that, World War I) and ushered in the post-caliphate world we live in today. While Western-focused historians talk about the rise and fall of Communism, the destruction of the caliphate was probably the most significant development in the preceding century from a global standpoint.
