A truly bitter dose of reality...
...that I don't expect to see dissipate within my lifetime.

1. I think I've found the line that will drive home the most pain to readers here:
Statistical models derived from the poll suggest that Obama's support would be as much as 6 percentage points higher if there were no white racial prejudice.

Awful news for a country that wants to think it is further ahead on defeating racism than it currently is.

4. 6 points isn't that bad really.
Hell 15% of the populace can barely speak.

2. We're going to win
There is no other choice. Negativity is what the right throws at us to discourage us. We have to avoid it like the plague.

5. If Obama doesn't win this election period... well this country deserves what it gets
I would feel bad for all the other countries out there though.

6. Some americans are so effin' clueless
They won't vote for a man because of his skin color, but they have no problem putting a lying, fascist traitor into the WH twice.

:wtf:

8. "What did you expect? Welcome Sonny? Make yourself at home?
Marry My Daughter? You gotta remember that these are simple farmers. These are people of the land, the common clay of the new West. You know…..Morons."

Consider the DU morons who pick on the Palin kids,
it's not a pretty picture!

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
