Will you back me in a 5K run for ovarian cancer awareness?
Yeah, I know, I'm a glutton for punishment - apparently, I couldn't be satisfied with Race for the Cure:

September 27th, 2008
Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine

We are proud to announce a nationwide campaign in 2008 with a new name for the annual Walk - It will now be known as the NOCC and PureOlogy Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer!

The 8th annual Walk will take place on Saturday, September 27th in Grapevine, Texas, starting from Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine, at 1650 W. College Road. This Walk/Run will coincide with the Texas Legislature's resolutions declaring September as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in Texas. Why not bring your family and join us in raising awareness in your home region? You can really make a difference in ovarian cancer awareness in the DFW metroplex!

I'm running on behalf of my wife, ginbarn, who is a 20-year survivor of ovarian cancer.

So if you have a few dollars to help sponsor my 5K this weekend, I would sure appreciate it if you could shoot them our way! Use this link for my page on the NOCC site:

And many thanks in advance from ginbarn and I to all DUers who contribute! :hi: :grouphug:

1. I'll be delighted to sponsor you - in memory of my aunt
who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2002. I think my mom would appreciate that donation.
