3. Who is voting "Everybody"?
Democrats have had nothing to do with this - we've been the ones pushing for more regulation, more oversight. The Rethugs are the ones who have had control of Congress for most of the past two decades and allowed these institutions to run ramshod over everyone, encouraged predatory lending practices, etc.
