Why does everything have to be anal on the new Greatest Page?

I don't mind the ratings, they're fine, but why can't the posts go on the Greatest Page in the order they come in when they hit 5 recommends like before? Then we won't miss anything. Separating them into categories of 4.9 and 4.8 seems a lot of extra work for slight differences.

I don't think anyone is actually adding, dividing, posting them (ok, being a smartass) but it is automatic. The numbers are NOT how many recommendations, like in the past, but how highly they are recommended, with (votes) being how many people bothered to do a recommendation. Though some of them could be negative recommendations.

It will take a bit to get used to, esp with those colors at the side of the forum sucking one in. Need to learn to ignore them and look for subject lines rather than bright color.

4. It's annoying.

I like to skim down until I reach the last title I read the last time I was online. Now I'm not sure how I'm suppose to do that. The ratings are great, though, so I wouldn't skip over the ones everyone else thinks is important.

6. Where are all the threads?

It only shows the Recommended and the Must Reads. Personally, I don't like it. It's like another way to censor the Greatest Page.

So, as someone said, the Greatest is no longer the Greatest. A new, subjective filter has been added.

9. I agree with you...I used to like how the greatest page showed number of...

recommends, so you could see some recent threads had 5 or 6, and a newer thread had 13, so one knew there was something to check out there. Now, it does not work that way. Oh well.
