What are some things conservatives need to learn about America?
Just some things they don't seem to get that frustrates me:

The president is not an elected dictator. He works for us.
America is not run on the principles of any religion.
Having freedom means you're supposed to actually use it.
The 2nd Amendment is not the only part of the Constitution that matters.
The president is not America.
God does not endorse certain political parties.
Christianity and morality do not begin and end with abortion and homosexuality.
There's nothing wrong with having a non-Christian president, or a president with a non-WASPish sounding name.
"God hates fags" =/= family values
You don't pick your leaders based on who you'd most like to get wasted with.
Mentioning God or Jesus all the time does not automatically make you moral.
There are way worse things than getting blown in the Oval Office.

Did I leave anything out?

6. Many, esp those in power, need to learn what the heel of justice feels like on their necks..
and they need to learn what it's like to live inside the prison system.

Short of that, learning what a smack upside the head from an American progressive democrat feels like would be a sufficient start.

13. The words "Under God" were not in the original Pledge of Allegiance.
They weren't put there until 1954, at the height of McCarthyism.

15. This one is easy!
The vast majority of those that call themselves Republican need to understand that the TINY elite group that runs their party doesn't give a shit about them. BushCo et al. ONLY cares that these people are easily duped, fooled amd distracted.
