DON'T GET SCREWED ON ELECTION DAY
Voter manipulation is rampant across the nation. Just a few examples:

Michigan: Republican County Auditors are removing folks from the roll who have had their homes entered into foreclosure.

Ohio: 600,000 in three major urban ares have been threatened with having their names removed from the voting rolls.

Virginia: AFL-CIO leaders report that college students have been mislead by Republican County Auditors as to where they can register and vote.

Wisconsin: The Republican Attorney General is challenging the rights of 20% of the state's voters. Mostly in Milwaukee and Racine.

Let's not let 2008 mirror 2000 and 2004. Let the people decide this election, not machines, dirty tricks or voter witch hunts. This is a matter of justice pure and simple. If we can't trust the vote, we risk sinking into anarchy and becoming a third world country.

What can you do: please join us in declaring October 1st as NATIONAL GUARANTEE YOUR VOTE DAY

We are asking for a commitment of all blogs, organizations, individuals and groups to either text, email or phone their supporters to remind them to check with their local elections officials to make sure that they can STILL vote that day. By doing so, perhaps we can save some votes before it is too late!

For more information with links to your county or state elections department, please check our web sites; www.americasolidarity.org or www.guaranteeyourvote.org or call Mike Collier at: (253) 627-0129

Ps: we are still seeking groups to endorse the project.

1. If They Remove You From the Rolls After the Registration Deadline…
…do you have any recourse at all, other getting a lawyer and going to court?

Even then, how could you get a decision in time?

3. Many of the states in order to be cooperative
with the HAVA (help America vote act) law, made a deal with the government that there can be no removal of folks more than sixty days before an election. There will still be many places where this is not done, also a crooked election worker can pull just about anything...but by doing this action NATIONAL GUARANTEE YOUR VOTE DAY if enough folks take part, then the mainstream media will pick it up and it may help curb some of the more enthusiastic vote manipulators.

4. If We All Try to Check on the Same Day…
…how will election officials be able to handle the volume of requests?

Might they even purge a bunch of us in retaliation for causing them all this bother?

"Yes, you're registered (until I get off the phone and delete you)."

The good news is I'm registered. The bad news:

You are registered in affiliation with the DEMOCRAT party.

:grr:

Are we officially the "Democrat party" now?

This is a very blue county in California, too!
