I came up with the best analogy today when describing the Wall Street bailout today

I asked my friend,"Have you ever seen High Plains Drifter?"
He answered yes and I then went on to explain:"Right now Paulson is like Clint Eastwood's character in High Plains Drifter walking all around town and stealing/taking anything he can on the false hopes that he will keep them completely safe from the bad guyswhile at the same time he's going to ride off and still let them suffer their rath."
I then added,"the only difference is that the people of Lago had it coming for what they did in mining gold illegally from government land and covering it up by killing the only honest man that was going to do the right thing." "The American people never really did anything to deserve this its just enough baby boomers were naive enough to give the neo-conservative movement a chance in running/ruining our economy and now they're going to skip town with all of our stuff."
