President Obama meets with congressional leaders
not really, but still . . .

Senator John McCain, Representative John Boehner, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, President Bush, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Senator Mitch McConnell and Senator Barack Obama during a meeting at the White House on Thursday. (Doug Mills/The New York Times)

4. Love the photographers perspective...
Barack Obama looks great in this.. he looks healthy, serious and thoughtful. McCain OTOH, all the way down at the other end of the table, looks small almost shrunken and like he's actually finding this situation amusing

This set up is also obviously more for a photo-op not real communication and debate. Was this taken before or after they had met to discuss the bailout or was this what Bush called him back for?

5. I hadn't thought of that . . . so much for Mccain's photo-op. Not good to piss off the press
. . . they usually allow the photographers in before they start speaking

6. It's impressive to me when I see a bit of psychology used with photography.
This photographer probably knew what they were doing and yeah, not a good idea to piss off the press. They can be your best friend or your worst nightmare... let's just hope they continue to be pissed at McCain/Palin and don't get the directive from up high to become lapdogs again.
