Having one of the most popular talk-show hosts in the country as your enemy is a very bad thing.

12. I can't blame Dave for being pissed.

What McLame did to Dave is a metaphor for what the rethuglicans have been doing to the whole country.

Just give out empty promises, tell people what they want to hear. Then when it's time to deliver,
they're nowhere to be found. I'm glad Dave is making them pay.

19. I can't blame Letterman either
This whole circus just keeps getting better by the hour.

To be honest, I'm surprised Letterman hasn't railed into CBS yet. Seeing as Letterman and News anchor, Katie Couric, are both on CBS... and CBS didn't bother to tell Letterman before the show started!

So Letterman is left to scramble for a guest, and got Keith. :D And then I guess Letterman's producer or staff, or someone found out from CBS or somebody during the taping of the show that McCain bailed and was... to no surprise... campaigning!

I love how Letterman got a live feed and just... debunked with such grace.
