1. Me too
He would be on that Senate Floor ripping them a new one over this. And he would make it simple for all of us to understand. Very sad, indeed.

Hard to believe it's been almost six years.

3. I miss him ALL the time.
There have been so many things over the past six years that made me shake my head and wonder, "What would Wellstone say about this?" Every time I see Coleman it reminds me of what could have been.

4. I do too.
I guess what I meant to say in the OP is that I miss him the most at times like this. I cannot stand to see Norm Coleman in Wellstone's seat. It is just not right.

7. I have a copy of the tribute video, Wellstone!. And never get through it
without crying my eyes out.

He'd be hollering in the well RIGHT NOW.

8. It still makes my blood boil when I think about how the repugs
used his memorial service to generate phony outrage at the Dems "unseemly" behaviour and caused it to become a huge deal in the press. It was the repugs fake and cynical sense of decorum that was supposedly offended which then started the endless dialogue in the media that branded the Dems uncouth, partisan ghouls who would use the death of a colleague to advance their party.

When I think how Coleman scored cheap political points off the way Wellstone's remaining family chose to celebrate this remarkable man's life I get so pissed off all over again that I can hardly form a coherent sentence to express my contempt and fury.

The MSM allowed the repugs to manufacture a non-story, they gave them the unlimited air time and the forums to keep this made up "scandal" in the headlines until election day which caused Mondale to lose. The phony outrage by the repugs turned the public off to the Dems and it's hard to believe that it all started with lies and false anger about how a beloved senator's memorial service was conducted. Unbelievable!

Of course the repugs never let an opportunity to express shock and indignation at the Dem's supposed moral shortcomings
pass them by. It's just what they do and it usually works!! It's just too bad that a thoroughly decent man like Wellstone was shamelessly used by the repugs to execute their unscrupulous, underhanded despicable tactics in a political race.
