I was hearing the general provisions of the Wall Street bailout. The CEOs got their damned bailout. It's supposedly less than originally requested, but they'll get compensated in the millions for drving their companies into the ditch.
What happened to the old conservative mantras that you take responsibility for your own actions? What about allowing the market to take care of things and not have a government handout when you're in a jam?
It's not like these bozos are now penniless. They've made millions, if not billions from previous years. They just want to walk away from this train wreck they created with a chunk of change because, for some reason, they think they're entitled to it.
Using the ditched car analogy again, if any of us totaled our cars by carelessly driving it into a ditch, do we expect the taxpayers to provide us with a new replacement car? Hell no! But these Wall Street prima donnas think they're entitled to be compensated for their screw ups.
And they wonder why there are cries of class warfare in this country.
