Rolling Blunder Desires Confrontation In DC March 17th
This is from me stay away let us vets handle them this is a read you should look at.

Rolling Blunder and These Colors don't Run pro-war protest in DC aims to create confrontation with Anti-Iraqinam war groups. They plan to stage in and around the Vietnam Veterans Memorial once again turning the WAll INTO A POLITICAL CIRCUS AS Artie Muller and Rolling Thunder did during the 2004 Presidential Election.

You can read what my brother the Major has to say about this here

4. Be on the lookout for firearms, and report them to the nearest cop ASAP.
Because you know damn well some of these "itching for a fight"
chickenhawks are gonna be packing. No way they'd ever go to DC
(or ANYWHERE) otherwise, because they're cowards with too many
vigilante-fantasies.

Let THEM get arrested in front of the TV cameras, hey? THAT'S good TV!

12. Ahhh, the draconian DC laws were struck down, so unless a stay was issued, they may not be illegal
though most carry locked in their bike bags. That would require a warrant to search.

"let us handle this? I think it is allowable for us to meet and protest. I understand telling people to stay away from the Wall and perhaps alerting local law inforcement to this "plan" but other than that...come on....

38. MonkeyMan, I am asking you to to post what the blog post was about.
They are NOT asking people to stay away from the protests. They are asking people to stay away from the memorials, which is a valid request. Your OP does not state that.

39. The blog was basically bullshit, the minor has no idea what he is talking about
- The minor does not like Rolling Thunder and telling everyone to stay away and that there are no counter protests planned.
- His simian relation is telling us that there are protests planned, but it should be left to veterans

Best I can tell:

1) Rolling Thunder is planned at least a year in advance and the complaints about non-veterans riding is nonsense, since it has never been billed as a veteran only event.

2) The right wing caravan it planned to arrive about the same time.

3) Left wing protests are now being planned as well.

While avoiding DC is always a good idea, its going to be a even better time to avoid it. Lots of MCs, lots of tourist, and lots of people of all stripes wanting to impress the cameras. Since I live in the immediate area, I may brave the crowds, but will leave my MC at home and take the Metro and a camera.

41. "the procession of rolling thunder" in this sentence refers to the sound
of the bikes driving down the road. I have often referrred to this myself, as has many others that I know. The sound of a group of Harleys sounds like rolling thunder...

This is, of course, just my interpretation of this snippet.

in the art of the protest. It sounds a little like dance party to make that kind of request. I think anyone who wishes to support the troops, and embarass these sadly undereducated people, should go.

On edit: I think you need to clarify what the blog actually says, with regard to the Wall.

Brother Major is Ohio VFP he is also Military Families for Peace his son is in Iraq. What he wants is not to let these pukes take away what we are doing. The Wall is a place of honor for my fallen brothers they want to make it political. If you look at the picture in the link you will see what Muller is all about. If you want to see a true vet watch 360 at 11.20 Eastern time. Thats our leader Veterans For America

Your first post does not say anything about the Wall...it just says stay away and let us handle this. That could be taken to mean stay away from the protest in general, which isn't what they are asking.
