15. Exactly - they're only able to cover up so much and the rest is leaking past their barriers
They have no choice.

Just think about all we KNOW that they are STILL covering up throughout the last 7 years.

8. I don't believe it either...
Remember that brief period after Katrina when the media seemed to find its balls, only to lose them a month or so down the road?

5. I think its' like the 2004 elections. In reality the repubs stole the same amount of votes
they stole before, (There was an estimate of 3 million stoloen votes this last time around.)but it just wasn't enough. I suspect the media is hiding the same amount of info it was hiding before, but it just isn't enough....

7. Thank Colbert
at the Press Club Roast last year, he woke them up much to their dismay that they had not done their job for 5+ years.

6. Today, Alberto Gonzalez speaks to me over my cereal, live on CBS.
You gotta admit: That was unthinkable just 9 months ago.

The fecal matter has hit the circular air ventillation system.

Duck!

10. no shock here
I waste just enough time every morning listening to their giggling, fawning, valleygirl/boy amazement at what is not news, as they emulate survivor episodes, dancing with the stars missteps, and some blonde's latest divorce/death/diet/destruction all the while delivered from a crowded couch, as they yuk it up.
2 minutes delivering any real reports posed with a serious face, 30+ minutes of adverts, the rest in competition to which anchor can ham, grin and guffaw the other out. I usually have to puke before coffee.

oh, you were asking about cable news? sorry, i don't subscribe.

i get my news on the internets (read DU).

the truth set me free.
