It's that he can't possibly know how the average American really lives. He's had so much for so long, he probably has no idea what the average pay is for American workers or what groceries cost.

It is just so cluttered and piles more stuff on top of more stuff. I honestly have to say that I didn't see any piece of furniture or decoration that made me say "Oh, that's nice - I'd like to have something like that." Each to their own of course, but not my cup of tea at all. Oh, and we have a wine-tasting room in our house too - of course it's also the breakfast room, the dining room, the kid's (air conditioned) play area, the office and the kid's homework area.
