2. I almost have a difficult time congratulating people when they tell me they're expecting.
I want to say to them, "Why would you want to bring a child into this world? We're running out of everything. There are too many people as it is now, why add to the problem?" But of course, I don't.

Too many people is certainly an issue that needs to be addressed. At the rate we're going, we will eventually run out of water, food, air, and real estate for everyone. :shrug:

3. Population Has Almost Dropped Off the Face of the Earth
as a political issue.

But reducing population is the only way to bring most of the world up to developed countries' standards. I just hope it can be brought under control gradually rather than catastrophically.
