An idea for a viral youtube to make McCain's "Maverick" label a liability...

I'd perhaps try to do this myself, but between perhaps trying to move in the next month, amongst many other things, I simply won't have the time to do this.

But I do think perhaps this sort of video clip might be used, if done right, to prevent Palin and the rest of these bums from just falling back to "Well he's the Maverick" when they can't think of a good answer to a well-served question on the campaign trail.

First, dig up a lot of out-takes from "Top Gun", where the main character of course is Tom Cruise who's name is "Maverick"... Perhaps pick up a few good scenes that show him being impulsive and unwise in his actions. Definitely get the video clip of where he starts to sing "You've lost that loving feeling!"...

Then get some clips of Randy Duke Cunningham. Perhaps those of him crying when he resigned, etc. and any where he's hauled off to prison or behind bars, etc.

Put these clips up of Tom Cruise as "Maverick" with him being called Maverick many numbers of time at the beginning of the clip. Wind up with him singing "You've Lost that loving feeling" and morph him into Randy Duke Cunningham, the real "Maverick" that his character was based upon.

Then perhaps have side by side pictures of Randy Duke Cunningham, alongside McLame, and ask a question in text...

Do we REALLY need another "Maverick" running our country?

Just an idea. Thought it might be able to bring the Randy Duke Cunningham framing in to put this term into a bad light, so McCain can't keep wrapping himself with it. Perhaps even throw in the guy at the Republican convention throwing up his "Mavrick" sign to illustrate the intelligence level of those wanting another Maverick!
