Poll question: Bush spouting “Straightforward Communication” and Rush pouting about the “Liberal Media”
Edited on Thu Mar-15-07 01:47 AM by omega minimo
Bush: “It concerns me that some in Congress feel that there has not been OPen communiCAtion and it concerns the Attorney General........”

Wait-- did I hear that right? Best laugh I’ve had in a while. “OPEN COMMUNICATION”? :spray:

*

Like a swing voter who would choose Republican over Republican Lite, this progressive radio listener was driven by “the most popular progressive radio talk host in America,” who shouts at his listeners like just another Limbaugh clone; driven by the fact that he was talking about SPORTS today for an extended period (while this city’s Air America station was totally taken over by 24 hour sports drivel and the station that carries Schultz CONSTANTLY preempts Malloy for hockey games); driven to listen to Rush Limbot.

I don’t listen to Limbot. Years ago, in the first five minutes hearing him work some caller into an apoplectic fit of hatred, pegged him as Hatemonger #1. He started out being an entertainer when people in his local market knew he was a put-on and thought he was “funny” -- went from that, to being taken seriously by Dittoheads nationwide and driving the U.S. toward the Gates of Hell. And NOW, full circle, Rush’s apologists are referring to him as “an entertainer” again. They can’t really back him up and he can no longer back up the Republican regime he enabled.

“You don’t have to defend the President in order to attack Democrats.”

Isn’t that conVENient? Another way of saying he still makes his living attacking Democrats, when he can no longer “defend the President.” When he can no longer defend the Republicons.

There is an “absence of conservative leadership....”

These revelations came after he was carping about the “global warming movement,” lisping like Sylvester the Cat, as he ACTUALLY CLAIMED that Al Gore and his award-winning movie are “trying to destroy the family structure.”

“Why is everything the Left demands full of unintended consequences like this?”

Why there’s a meaningless non-sequitur for ya’ll. MegaDittoes Lush!!

So according to Lush, the “global warming movement” and Al Gore are “trying to destroy the family structure.” The “carbon offset scam” which allows for environmental mitigation means that “NO leftists are actually reducing their emissions.”

Limbot never really specified WHAT “unintended consequences” or how mitigation of carbon footprints equals “trying to destroy the family structure.”

Now he’s moved on to verbally farting about the “Liberal Media.” Here is where it gets as ludicrous as listening to Bush proclaim his (and the A.G.’s) commitment to “open communication.”

“The Liberal Media. The House Organ in the ______” blah blah blah-- the House Organ bit was catchy but Limbot’s talking real fast to cover the fact that he’s totally lying.

“They can’t handle opposing points of view. They want to stifle talk radio and new media.”

“They want to bring back the Fairness Doctrine.”

The vast Left Wing conspiracy can’t handle opposing points of view and the Liberal Media Democrat (sic) House Organ want to bring back the Fairness Doctrine to stifle talk radio and new media.

IGNORANCE IS BLISS. INSANITY IS STRENGTH. MONEY TRUMPS PEACE.

So why are Air America stations being sold up and replaced by 24 sports chat? Why is bombastic Ed Schultz promoted as the “the most popular progressive radio talk host in America”? Why does he think he has to be a Limbot clone and SHOUT at the audience? And why the HELL is he talking about SPORTS on the air?

*

A week ago, Ed Shouts was going off about sex and scandals and Clinton and candidates and egging the audience on to believe that “we” can’t afford a candidate that might “DE-FOCUS” the Congress and the American people because they had skeletons in their closet.

Oh PLEASE. No, Ed, we can’t afford a public that doesn’t have the common sense and uncommon guts to say THIS IS A LOAD OF CRAP AND WE ARE NOT FALLING FOR WHATEVER BOGUS DISTRACTION IS FLOATED next time.

Because there will always. be. a. next. time.

edit for “Straightforward Communication”

(Richard Gere on Letterman just said "We have a president right now who lies constantly and gets away with it.")

"And the fact that both Republicans and Democrats feel like that there was not straightforward communication troubles me and it troubles the attorney general."
