What should Biden NOT say tonight .. your thoughts?

He should call her Governor Palin. Not that she deserves respect, but looking disrespectful would backfire.

He probably shouldn't call her obtuse. Probably shouldn't use the word milf either (please allow me to state that I don't think she's worthy of the "milf" moniker) :) .

Seriously, I don't think he should press hard on anything. Her credibility is already shot. There's very little she can do to improve her standing, but lots he can do by coming across as an ass. We all saw how important tenor and tone were in the first presidential debate. Same will apply here, I think. If the perception, afterwards, is that Paln had a few zingers, the base will probably cream their jeans. nothing more, nothing less. However, if the perception is that Biden haw extreme, rude, etc, the independents may take another look at Palin / McSame.

I have no doubt that Joe will be on good beahvior tonight. He's smart and well prepared.

He should make no flattering comments about her looks because the Republicans will interpret that as sexist. He should avoid using terms such as "Dear" or "Honey."

Would probably be unwise.
