1. Hopefully, Palin will sink the ship tonight
And we might not have to do a thing.

2. I suspect Phailin will do a little better than the low expectations and there will be a temp bump.
But it will be very temporary as the cavalcade of fail and bad news will continue.

Just my crystal ball.

Who knows, eh?

10. I agree, as well.
We won't be impressed, but her base will cling to any vestige of acceptability. Of course, they will have to imagine that, but will be aided by her verbal facility to use "fundy church speak". They will claim her as one of their own. Pathetic.

3. The whole McLame campaign will drop off the radar after tonight.

They just announced they are giving up on Michigan. One down, forty-nine to go.

Great timing. This ought to give Lady Bullwinle's self esteem a great boost.

8. The MSM will find a way to spin this in her favor and the polls will
temporarily jump for the McLiar/Moose numbers. The media needs the last month of this to be as close as possible, and this is a chance for them to spin it toward that direction.

I imagine the bounce will fade very quickly, especially considering the economic situation being dealt with in DC, but there will be a noticeable bounce.

9. All things being equal, Bushie polls would go down, but NEVER discount
the ability of the Bushie Media with the Corporate M$M trailing in it's wake to warp and shape reality like a piece of mozarella cheese.

Given THAT immense power and the number of people even not exactly IN the Bushie Cult affected by the powerul and pervasive signal of Bushiganda, I think a poll bounce, even a short-lived one, is inevitable.

I hope I am wrong. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

13. +1 to +3 bump
Palin's base doesn't care whether she can spell "cat" or tie her shoes. They just want to see their fundie figurehead out there opposing "a liberal."

19. This was an unmitigated disaster for McSame.
Biden decimated the "maverick" theme due to her overuse of it. Biden came off as genuine, she came off as shrill and robotic due to her overuse of talking points.

21. A good bit
The right wing MSM will prop her up and make it look like she was great, just like they did at the Convention. I wish that liberal media really did exist.
