Poll question: Do you have a valid passport?
You may be needing it in the coming months/years, regardless of who wins this election...

1. I do.
I like to travel abroad!

I have zero plans to move, however...

4. I finally got one last year
just so if we ever want to drive through Canada down to Haines and take the ferry to Juneau, we won't have any hassle.

5. Nope -- have no need for one
I've moved a lot all my life, and I'm content just to stay settled now, rather than traveling. :)

6. No, I do not.
The closest I ever came to actually leaving America was going to the Bahamas on my senior trip in 1988. I don't remember them requiring passports. I have just never had a need for one.

8. No need for one,
Can't afford to travel, and health is probably not good enough to do so anyway. If I could afford to leave here, I would have years ago. Don't know where I would go for sure, but I would not be here.

9. I have a passport but it's expired.
I haven't used it since I was a small child. The only foreign country I've been to in the last 30 years has been Mexico, namely Baja California. That's it. So, I haven't needed one.

I guess I'll have to spend the $60 or whatever and get a new one.

14. It's $75 now, + $25 if processed through the US Postal Service
Mine expired early this year. I reapplied a week ago, and the wait, they said, was 3-4 weeks. If you want it expedited, it is another $60. I will be very relieved to have my passport.... was feeling very trapped without it.

I'm headed back to Ireland 5 November - just hope 'conditions' do not deter flying.

20. I don't, but will have to soon.
I came in on the Cat in Portland, Me. last night. Had my birth certificate & driver's license. No real hassles except a couple of questions. As of June 2009, a passport will be mandatory. Welcome to Amerika.
