So what happens on November 5th?
After the election has been called by all the networks, after phone calls have been made, speeches have been given and we have a definite winner for the 44th President of the United States.

What happens to the losers?
What happens to the winners?
What happens to the country?

If Obama wins or if McCain wins. What happens on November 5th?

4. Bu$h still in office is the danger should Obama win
Someone will need to watch his every move. He becomes much more dangerous with an Obama win and could launch a strike against Iran or Russia just because the republicans lost.

31. In effect he has been removed, as in removal in place. He's a political
eunuch. he can still do things like EO's and pardons, but nobody is paying him much mind. Much of a president's power is through persuasion. If people stop listening, it's game set match.

2. Either I go to Canada,
or I don't.

Either my buddy and I grab all our cash and head to Las Vegas to waste it all, and ourselves, in an orgy of gambling, smoking, drinking and whatever else we can think of until we vaporize, or we don't.

Either I sit and smile and feel a kind of happiness that has eluded me for almost eight years, or I don't.

3. Welcome to DU!
:hi:

On November 5th, the Obama transition team will arrive in D.C. and pave the way for Obama/Biden to take over. Hundreds of GOP Congresscritters will be cleaning out their offices and dismissing their staff. Obama/Biden will be working on choosing the cabinet appointments.

McCain will return to the Senate. The Palin family will return to Alaska and hopefully face shame and sentencing for their part in Troopergate.

The country will be able to breathe again and look to the future in hope.

I don't want to think about it if McCain wins.

If Obama wins, the White House begins the biggest methodical destruction of evidence of crimes since the Allies began closing in on Hitler's bunker.

6. I know what you are saying
the ignorant and the bigoted, homophobic, racist, sexist, white fear has been let loose from it's dark hole, given a stubborn, hard headed, poster boy as a president. I do not believe that they will go back in quietly. As we say on our block, "the dumb will die" that fight and kill and hate and illusion of us and them hangers on, will kill itself out one day. But it won't be without stirring up bullshit on the way.

9. I hear ya, kagehime.
My friend and I have already planned our bacchanalia (or sorrow-drowning, as the case may be)for the evening of Nov 4 and wee hours of Nov 5. There will be hangover galore the morning of Nov 5, I predict.

Don't forget to take 2 aspirin and drink a pint of water before you pass out.

10. Obama/Biden victory!
The first thing I will do after they announce the win,is to go outside and ring my 150 year old dinner bell. It came from my Great-Grandfathers farm in Pa. and it is only rung on very special occasions. I don't care if it is 4:00am. I will ring it.

After being sleep deprived from watching the television and being online, I will go to sleep and sleep better than I have in the past 7 years. I will have happy dreams about the upcoming administration. I will feel the hope that my parents did when Jack and Bobby were alive. I will feel elated that once again we dare to prosper. I will feel trust in my POTUS and be dedicated to him. I will expect that we will be on the bandwagon for global warming, animal rights issues, and all the other important crises that we all face. Finally, I will say a prayer of thanks and go hug a tree.

Edited on Sat Oct-04-08 09:38 AM by xyouth
But unlike the last to elections, there is rioting in the streets in every major city. Lead of course by the black populous; because even after being fucked out of 2 elections, and our country being pilfered, we white people are still not angry enough to start a revolution, but we will join in. The Government will bring in the new NCom troops. It will be very bloody. Washington will be set ablaze. After about a month of anarchy, Obama will take his place as lawfully elected president, and the nation will start to rebuild.

34. Agent Mike??
No, just an injured guy with way too much time to read on my hands . The more I read the more I can not rule out the possibility of what 8 years ago seemed nuts. I remember the sick feeling waking up to a Bush win when I went to sleep with a Gore win. I am a union (IATSE) member, I called John Sweeney's office at the AFLCIO, wrote letters, and not even a form letter reply. Then, an un-protested election robbery, facilitated by the Supreme Court turned into 911. Now I grew up in a demolition family, and work in demolition from age 16, during vacations, then after college full time until I was thirty years old. During that time I wrecked many different kinds of structures, most in chemical plants, so nothing taller than a Cat cracker. I pulled 6 story buildings. "Pulled" coming from the fact that we tied cables to the columns of the buildings after pre cutting the steel, and pulled them with heavy equipment. One thing I can tell you is that steel does not want to come STRAIGHT down without pre cutting. Especially at the speed of free-fall.

So another election, this one stolen electronically. In four years nothing has changed much to fix the voting problems, and only a relative hand full of people even know that there are serious issues with the electronic systems, thanks to the ever so vigilant MSM/MIC. Meanwhile the American people were frightened into ponying up 700 bil.+ to "Wall Street". Voters are getting purged left and right..........

So after this rant do you think, that I think, that it is a possibility that we may not have fair elections?
Do you think that there may be a few broke people who are putting all of their hopes on Obama to end this nightmare?
How pissed do you think these people will be if they even smell election fraud?

So Agent Mike?... I am sure he visits this blog. I am sure he listens to phone calls of many many many patriotic Americans. They didn't piss all over the Constitution for nothing. I write and call Congress so often, I am pretty sure that I have a file somewhere. If I do, than I am proud of it.

27. what bullshit. Obama will win. There will be a peaceful
transition. That's what history says, both about the odds of Obama winning and a transition.

I real have a lot of contempt to you wankers who jerk off publically and messily to fantasies of blood running in the streets. I think you're disgusting. Do it in the bathroom.

25. If Obama wins there will be a run on
Edited on Sat Oct-04-08 10:08 AM by UK populist
Paper shredders
Computer erasing software
the Treasury
Fort Knox
tickets to Paraguay

If Mccon wins there will be a run on
tear gas
police batons
rubber bullets
body armour
body bags
tasers
water cannons
microwave emitting crowd control vehicles
detention camps
And shredders again but this time they will only be used on copies the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

32. Republicans file lawsuits
charging Democratic caging and intimidation of voters, challenging every provisional vote, disrupting vote counts - in short pulling every trick they can.

Seeing Bush's behavior in the past 2 weeks, I expect him to check out even further - if that's possible. If Obama wins, I expect to see him take on a larger than usual leadership role in the Senate, effectively directing the economic course. Republicans will, of course, balk, but since many of them will be lame ducks they'll grudgingly go along.

Meanwhile, Cheney will be buying every shredder in the District and barricading himself in the Naval Observatory.

If McCain wins, the Canadian embassy can expect a lot of inquiries. They'll be a loud, public fight between McCain and Palin about who's really running things: each will maneuver to get the other one to step down.
