...and I note that she's been appearing elsewhere (e.g., PBS) a lot lately.

As to Michael Ware, I must plead ignorance. I haven't really watched CNN in years, apart from, say, Katrina--not a conscious boycott, I just sort of stopped. :hi:

9. Beck' s hiring had the wrong effect

People knew CNN was trying to outFox the Fox boys but in trying to get a leg up by hiring beck they chased away what little audience they still had. I have programed CNN headline news out of my remote. I wish we had that news site where Dan Rather is.

Why don't we set up a committee of DU'ers. pick one of the sponsers of beck. Sign the petition and send it to the sponsor and tell them we will under no circumstances buy anything they are connected to as long as they sponsor beck on CNN. Look how quick SlimFast dropped Whoopi as a spokesman when the Right Wing nuts told them the would boycott them. MAKE IT SO...SOMEBODY WITH THE MEANS ......I'll sign and I have about four or five others who will.

Seems to me that one PERCEIVED mistake can get a guy fired and to distrust the organization that employed him.

So, why is Glenn Beck kept on despite many PROVEN mistakes?

Kinda makes you suspect CNN's motives and by extension, their whole credibility.
