Any fucking stupid public that would make this #1 deserves anything that gets jammed up their collective asses or down their goddamned throats.

I took the neighborhood kids to see this movie Friday. They loved it, and I enjoyed them having a great time.

I was responding to the OP. He made it sound like this is something new. Like it just started happening. Hollywood has and will always be after one thing, and that is making money. Period. I will not pay their kind of prices for this kind of movie. I will however watch it on cable, if there is nothing else worth watching.

something that has been done and done and done since they have been making comedies for the silver screen. sometimes its not even a dog. don knotts turns into a dolphin or a pig named babe speaks or maybe they even animate it like almost everything disney ever did.

i love stupid, mindless, ha ha ha shit every now and then. if i crunched the electoral numbers in my mind 24x7 it would explode.

and there is nothing wrong with me or hollywood for bringing that.

look! the dog got his teeth brushed and now he "says"... "they taste "minty!"... *sparkle*

Methinks a trip to the dictionary is in order. He was talking about intelligence, or lack thereof. Nowhere in his post was there anything about elitism (which is, I assume, what you mean about the gloves).

and the entire effort of life is not about being so fucking serious all of the fucking time. sometimes, some of us just need to lighten up and laugh. about all sorts of silly shit. talking dogs being one of those things.

how you can relate a comedy about talking dogs to "bush stealing elections" tells me everything i need to know about you.

I can't hardly wait until there is an even larger number of chihuahuas dumped at the local shelters and running the streets.

That poor little thing -- is that mange?

We saved a chihuahua/poodle cross from going to the pound. The owners had AKC papers for a toy poodle female and a long-haired chihuahua male -- and the dumbshits actually thought they could get PAPERS for the puppies after they allowed them to breed. When they found out the puppies were worthless, they were all set to send them to the pound.

It took all my reserves to hold back and not slap them upside the head with a 2 by 4. Unbelievable stupidity.

I do hope this little guy gets some real TLC very very soon. If I wasn't on the east coast I'd come and get him myself. That's AWFUL.

35. i know this pain. i rescue every manner of puppy and kitty...
no dog or cat that ever shows up on my doorstep is ever turned away. and there are many. i live on a farm. all sorts of folks abandon animals out here in the country. i guess they think they can fend for themselves out here. and they don't want to pay the fees charged by shelters to drop a pet off.

for every one i rescue i'd bet there are ten that starve to death, running away from me because they no longer trust humans.

but are you saying that a movie about chihuahuas will increase this?

if this movie had never been made the problem would somehow go away?

34. Oh jeez, come on. This is one of the slowest moviegoing seasons of the year.
I mean, the movie only made $29 million! That's about 3 million people, or 1000 people per theater. Over 3 days, 5 showings a day, that's like 60 people in the theater. Which means that each showing was only a quarter full at best. :eyes:

What it needed was a chihuahua high priest cutting the still-beating heart out of another chihuahua with an obsidian knife, as an offering to the gods.
