An new/old name for palin and her hair-do.
My sister reminded me of something today. When we were young, we refused to wear our hair swept up into any version of the beehive, even the modified one like the one paline wears. It seems because of my father's religious beliefs we were not allowed to wear slacks and we were often compared to the Apostolic (what the pentecostal were called back then) girls in our town, and that was the hair do of choice for them. We did not want to be compared to them, we were very different from them in our outlook and actions. We called the hair-dos/and perhaps their wearers the 'happy-appys'. I still don't remember it that much, but I will take my sister's word for it. We were little meanies back then. Well, I guess I still am because I think the Happy/Snappy Appie is a fitting name for palin today.

My daughter would say that I am being silly and I am sure I am, just not in the mood today to be too serious. Will save that for my heart doctor tomorrow. ;)
