I think I'm nervous now
I've been waiting for years for the proverbial shit to hit the fan. It seems we always got to the edge of the cliff but something always intervened to prevent a fall.

Our business has weathered the ups and downs of the past 15 years. We are dependent on companies spending money. I foresee all but the most critical projects stopping dead in their tracks.

We are dependent on a credit line to pay our employees while waiting for payment from our customers. I see the possibility of our credit line being pulled back while we wait longer for payment.

I see inflation, deflation, loss-of-confidence, a mega-trillion dollar debt, and job losses converging for a once in a generation cleansing of the financial bowels.

It is hard to believe that this might be the big one but it looks to be playing out right before our eyes. Scary stuff.

I'm glad John McCain has decided to turn the page away from the economy to focus on the important issues of Obama's casual meetups.

1. Yea, this is gonna be a bumpy ride until early next year...
Investors are leaving equities and are going to try and find some safe haven anywhere they can...

Good news for us who have been waiting to dive into the market, get your flippers on, it's almost time...

3. I know how you feel. I've been unemployed for 2 1/2 months now
my fortunes have always been directly tied to the health of the economy, because what I do requires having people with disposable income to buy what I design. In the Clinton years I had a nice six figure income, but since Bush took office it's plummeted to barely middle class. Health problems and a corrupt insurance company wiped out every dime of my savings and left me in debt. My parents both survive on investment income, so it's scary knowing that I can't provide for them now either (as I was once sure that I could if need be). This is going to be a VERY bumpy ride ahead of us!
