was the top weekend film.

3. I went to see "Flash of Genius" this weekend. It was good.
The story of a man vs. corporate power. And the man won! It made me feel good to know that some people do stand firm, face the opposition because truth is on their side, and eventually overcome.

The fact that the dog movie was #1 says a lot about stupid, self-centered Americans. Substance holds no interest for the "American Idol" crowd. :eyes:

4. There's nothing wrong with escapism.
This place gets too heavy, so I enjoy a sitcom or some gossip website.

It's no worse than turning to booze or whatever else.

Not like listening to "Democracy Now!" is going to make us feel any better or change anything...
