He doesn't have much longer and with everyone TRYING to hang on to their ass-ets, keep a close watch on everything else.
This won't be the ONLY October "surprise" we are going to see. I'd bet money on that.

4. No, which is why I wanted impeachment.
Even if he made it to January and left at the end of his term, the impeachment of him and Cheney would have opened up the secrets of this administration to scrutiny and his legacy would be one of disgrace. As it stands, he and Cheney will be the criminals who got away with robbing the bank and we will have a harder time getting at the truth and substance of their treason and criminal behavior.

7. Me too Cleita
Precisely why the bastard needed to be impeached.
I lay this squarely at the table of Pelosi--you know...the one that didn't have impeachment on it?

5. Honestly, I have to say I didn't give it a second thought
until the first $$ amounts for the war started coming out.

I fear for my grand children, because the repercussions of *'s greed and our weenie congress, will last through their life times.

16. that's one train of thought I have seen
But I see reasons not to believe it. He is not the only one who controls this admin and others may not want to lose their power. They do run the risk of being tried for crimes too.

Who can say, my gut tells me they are not leaving as easy as we are told they will.

With what we've seen in the last few weeks alone were things we did not see predicted like this sudden bailout so how can we count on anything?

11. Don't forget Iran.
They will also bomb Iran before they leave, I am now convinced. How many times have they brazenly committed acts of stunning gall right in front of the whole world and gotten away with it? I've lost count. No reason to stop now. Plus, the economy serves as a great distraction.

Thank God impeachment was taken off the table by our hardball playin' reps.

12. Actually if that is his plan...it is the perfect time to do it
Seems the entire world is in an economic meltdown and money trumps all.
That's the scary part.

13. yes, people act like this hs gone away just like Iraq
Just because no one talks about it now with all the distraction does not mean it's gone.

So many people on this forum claimed they could multi-task ,well look how well this is working out . it's all down the memory hole, on the still hot back burner ready to reach the boiling point and it is all designed to distract.

Hell now even OJ is back in the news suddenly as if by chance , right!

Directive 51 anyone?
