2. Probably is their October surprise. People are getting their mail-in ballots now.
The ironic thing is, that McCain dropped bombs on children in Vietnam and he's pulling this bs. Really, Ms. Palin, what a load of crud.

3. McCain wants to refight the culture wars of the Vietnam era.
I'm sure it's puts his briefs in a knot that Americans were protesting the war in Vietnam while he was living in a box & being tortured. I understand his anger, but not his methods. Ayers & Obama hardly know each other. Politicians know lots of people particularly in their community - it's part of the job.

If Obama really chooses to use it, Keating 5 is actually about McCain himself AND relevant to the current scandal.

4. I don't think Ayres is an "October Surprise" Not shocking enough universally.
A proper October Surprise should create a situation in which the Bushie Status Quo is desireable.

Like the 2004 Bush-Bin Laden Productions, the Bin Laden Tape (in which Osama morphs from RW fundamentalist wahhabist to sounding like Michael Moore...yeah, right) and the American al-Qaeda Tape.

Both released a svcant couple days before the Phony Election of 2004,because another rule of Bushie Propaganda and all PR maipulations, reall, is that a mental shock eventaully wears off. Thus, like the Bushies 2004 Video Tapes, the upcoming October Surprise will have to be both universally shocking, like 9/11 or the 2004 Bush-Bin Laden Tapes and the desired actions to be made MUST be made BEFORE the shock of the Surprise wears off (for 9/11 The Patriot Act and a hundred other agendas; for 2004 the sole object was getting the "election" close enough to make a Kerry defeat Plausibly Deniable for the Busho-Corporate M$M.

now don't get me wrong. If there is one area the Bushies are genuises, aside from fraud and criminality and intimidation, it is PR and propaganda. They are smart enough to know that the same ad grows stale, thsu the only thing I am sure of for THIS October Surprise is that it WILL NOT be two tapes released three days before Phony Election.

People night catch on, you see. If they keep switching the methodology it gives the Bushies the microgram of Plausible Deniability they need to fool 99% of the sheep (well, maybe that number is down to 90%) 99% of the time.

So look for a different October Surprise this time. It will still liekly be horribly shocking to the national Nervous System, thus putting people in a condition the Bushes and all tyrants LOVE them to be in...scared and powerless-feeling.

Like the 2004 Bush-Bin Laden Tapes. That was brilliant. In th absence of knowing they were being manipulated, it was EASY to scare the shit out of the nation's soccer mom's and dads. I know, I witnessed it firsthand and multiply that by MILLIONS of people who's fear juices squirted into their bloodtreams, cloduing thought as fear and rage always do. Putting them in JUST the kind of desirable mentally clouded condition, that Bushies and all tyrants LOVE to see in their subjects.

7. Yeah, let's bring that
Viet Nam thing up. I have some questions about how he stopped the search for MIA's and POW's so no-one could access his files and tapes he made. He was brainwashed by the Russians(probably with a towelette)

6. It's a story without legs. In truth, the average American voter
pays very little attention to "guilt by association" stories. They're too confusing, too hard to find out the truth about, and sound desperate.

America is concerned about three things right now:

The economy
Health care
Ending the war

Discussing anything else at this point is useless.

9. If they had an October surprise they'd have used it by now.
They would have tried to change the momentum two weeks ago.

10. I think you're right
and, love her or hate her, the one thing Hillary's campaign did was a good job of vetting Barack. If she had found something that would stick to him, I'm pretty sure she would have used it on him.
