Oil keeps the world flowing. Jack the price up like they did and you have what we got.

The answer is to get off oil and have enough until then. Everything else is politics.

nutcase fodder. People simply refuse to acknowledge that oil is the engine of civilization; that oil is a finite resource; that it's production is in decline. Most people actually think oil will last forever and should always be cheap. Bless their hearts.

It's not the oil, it's the DEBT.

As a nation, we owe more than we have income to pay, and that air filled economy is falling as the air escapes.

Yes, oil made things rough just as it did in the 70s. But this time the crookedness of wall street took us down. Remember, speculators had a role in the oil price hike. The current fall in prices strongly proves this.
