241-193 House of Reps will he be able to get the important things done fast or can the repuke still block all things good and right?

1. It'll be harder for them to filibuster but they can still do it.
Also, Holy Joe will be there to subvert any progress he can.

5. The DLC'ers will do their part to continue to gum up the works and subvert
our Constitution, so it'll probably have to be greater than that to get anything done.

6. I think we can pick off a Republican or 2.
I suspect Sue Collins and Oylmpia Snowe will be happy to vote for Democratic legislation that will help the voters of Maine. Of course, I'll be voting for Tom Allen...but any moderate Republican will be a lot freer to to cut deals than they are now with this WH and present Senate balance.
