My representative in the State house is a pukey republicon
When she first ran for the office in 2002 I noted that she did not have a college degree. One day she campaigned at my door and I asked her about it. I don't recall what she said other than her admission that she did not have a degree. Just now I looked at four different websites that had biographical information about her. On three of them she claims to have a degree in economics/history which I interpreted to mean that she has two degrees. On one she claims to have a degree in economics with a minor in history. Now granted on the one site where she tells the awarding institution it was Tennessee State University, little better than a diploma mill in my mind, but I don't see how she could have two degrees in the time since I spoke with her six years ago. I know it could be done if she was a full-time student but when would she have time for legislating? I also wonder if it is an Associates degree she is talking about. Do AA's have minors? Anyway, it is perplexing.
