... and I didn't speak up because gas prices were so low and energy corporations said it would cost so much more money to develop solar and wind energy.

Then, the energy corporations started promoting clean coal and I didn't speak up because gas prices were so low and energy corporations made clean coal sound so clean.

Then, when the energy corporations started promoting nuclear energy I didn't speak up because gas prices are so high now and energy corporations promised me this was the only way to get off our dependence on foreign oil.

Then, when the market finally crashed and the CEOs of the energy corporations disappeared I didn't speak up because without an address, I'm not allowed to vote.

On the good side, I can enjoy all this free sunshine and cool breezes.
