1. Oh, boo-hoo
I don't think the cover of Obama is all that great either.

(The magazine is Newsweek, BTW.)

3. I love it when she holds up the cover and says, "This is mortifying!"

5. Upset because it *wasn't* retouched?
It's her photograph. Why are they ashamed of their candidate?

Could use a nice handlebar mustache, actually...

9. I'd like to know why people think it isn't retouched?
Every magazine cover is airbrushed/photoshopped. It's not like they took a picture of her without makeup and slapped it up there.

12. I agree w/ you, tridim.
Their complaints seem to be that she feels she should be pictured like a pin-up.

I got one word for their "unwanted facial hair": LIP WAX! Or she can just use a razor, like the rest of us "Joe/Jane Six-packs" do.

8. Pigwidgeon, they're complaining
that Newsweek used an unretouched foto that shows minor imperfections and "unwanted facial hair".

Apparently they want an air-brush centerfold-like treatment for their candidate.

11. The only thing Palin has to attract non-base voters is her looks
They know that her ideas and stands on issues don't appeal to anyone other than her fundy base so they need her to be visual in an attempt to get people to vote for her cause she's "hawt".

7. OMG, they didn't retouch the photo. How dare them! Oh Noes
They should have made her even prettier. It's like looking at her on hi-def TV. It shows flaws on her face. That is just so unfair.

10. "A slap in the face!!"
Oh the humanity! Palin's crow's feet and peach fuzz were on display because Newsweek didn't treat her like Heidi Klum. Obviously Newsweek totally fu*ked her over by not using Glamour Magazine tactics.
