"The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government"-Palin ally
Palin and her husband got started in politics in the Secessionist/Survivalist
Alaska Independence Party. Here's what the founder of AIP had to say:

"The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government,
and I won't be buried under their damn flag. I'll be buried in Dawson, and when Alaska is
an independent nation, they can bring my bones home, back to my country...

You renounce allegiance, and you pledge your efforts, your effects, and your life to Alaska,
that's how I do. I am an Alaskan, you see."

Here's another quote by the vice chairman of AIP, acknowledging Palin's support for AIP:

"Our current governor, who I mentioned the last conference, the one we were hoping
would get elected, Sarah Palin, did get elected. ... You should infiltrate -- I know
that the Christian Exodus is in favor of it, the free state movement is in favor of it.
Put the Republican label on it to get elected. That's all there is to it."

Feel free to use this when responding to Palin's insults -- if you don't plan on using this,
why bother attacking her at all?

Of course this is no different from red-baiting given that Palin has sound ideological
reasons for allying herself with radical anti-government groups without necessarily
being anti-American herself. She is a strong believer in the end times for instance.
So she is probably counting on America to collapse on its own before she takes office
and ushers in an era of Alaskan freedom as a "refuge from the coming Apocalypse"
(per Palin's pastor).

5. "Witchhunter" who blessed Sarah Palin actually called out a witch, townsfolk threatened to stone her

An innocent woman in her town.

The police responded by raiding the house of the "witch" and killing her pet snake

(no joke)

I once met someone who had something like this happen to her family in WV -- minus the
outright labeling of witchcraft and minus the leadership taken by Palin's self-described
witch doctor to rally the townsfolk against her (she was a hippie and they were fundies).

7. Why is this not an Obama attack ad? Just pin the Palin quote about "associations" up front.
And the pictures of Scott Palin circa AIP membership era and Palin as an unregistered AIP activist in the 1980s (when the founder of AIP was making these remarks).
